Tiered Model Recognition Fees

ABAI reviews fees on an ongoing basis to determine if adjustments are warranted. Please visit our documents page for the ABAI Recognition Fee Policy.

Programs applying for Tiers 2a-4b will follow the fee structure list below. The fee structure is organized into four regions based on the country’s income per capita; details of each region are located here. Please note, these categories are updated each membership cycle (September 1). The accreditation (Tier 1) application and fees are detailed on the accreditation website. 

Eligibility Review Fee: administrative fee due at the time of the intent to apply submission, this fee is charged per program. If a program is deemed ineligible, a new fee will be required for each revise and resubmit.

Application Fee: administrative fee due at the time of application submission.

Reviewer Honorarium: fee to compensate reviewers for their participation. 

Annual Sustaining Fee: yearly fee paid by currently recognized programs, due April 1. Programs are not charged an annual fee the year they undergo re-recognition.

Appeal Fee: fee associated with appealing the Committee's recognition decision.
