The HSF Martial Arts/Relaxation meeting will show and discuss how martial arts and relaxation can aid the behavioral community. Martial arts can individually help exercise different techniques to increase positive reactions with behavioral support. Relaxation can provide an individual self-regulation of the body, such as: controlling your heart rate, lowering your blood pressure, or helping a child with autism to not exhibit problematic behaviors. The topics that will be discussed include how breath control can help regulate children with autism and what comes after CPI? The event will conclude with a ten-minute relaxation session.
