Biography
I have been interested in looking into high-control groups (sometimes called “cults” or “new religious movements” and conformity in the workplace. I have been using the elaborated metacontingency to analyze these groups and create a set of defining characteristics to identify them and, eventually, quantify them in terms of severity. I am very interested in the role of institutions and the effects of rules coming from hierarchical roles. I believe understanding these dynamics in a detailed way has significant social implications, especially in our current political climate and for high-reliability organizations.
