Julio de Rose

Julio de Rose obtained a doctoral degree at Universidade de São Paulo and has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Shriver Center for Mental Retardation. He is a professor of psychology at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, and has published articles in the main behavioral journals, such as the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, The Psychological Record, and The Analysis of Verbal Behavior. He has served on the editorial board of JABA, the editorial board of The Psychological Record, and has served as a co-editor of the Brazilian multidisciplinary journal Olhar. Dr. de Rose is currently the Research Director of the Brazilian National Institute for Science and Technology on Behavior, Cognition, and Teaching (INCT/ECCE), which is a network of researchers from several Brazilian institutions. He is also the leader of the research group on Culture, Language, and Symbolic Behavior.
