John T. Rapp, professor of psychology at Auburn University, received his Ph.D. in behavior analysis from the University of Florida in 2003. Dr. Rapp’s research focuses on the assessment and treatment of problem behaviors, and he is probably best known for his programmatic work on stereotypic behavior of individuals with developmental disabilities. His recent efforts center on children in foster care and adjudicated adolescents, populations that have been underserved and for whom his contributions hold the promise of significant impact. His is a record of sustained and substantial research productivity that uncommonly enriches the field.
