Volunteer to Support the Accreditation Board and Tiered Model of Education
The Accreditation Board is responsible for the accreditation process, standards, and behavior analysis training programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. The Board also oversees the Tiered Model of Education system which approximates accreditation by recognizing quality behavior analysis training programs at all levels.
The Accreditation Board is seeking volunteers to serve as site visitors for accreditation applications and reviewer for recognition applications:
- Site visitors for accreditation applications and site visits. Please note: All site visitors must be doctoral-level faculty members (including Emeritus) in ABAI Accreditation Board accredited programs, ABAI Fellows at universities or colleges, or current or past Full members of the ABAI Executive Council at universities or colleges. Site visitors will normally engage in a full, two-day review with the applying program and receive a $1,000 honorarium. Accreditation site visits normally occur on-campus but some application reviews may occur via video conferencing.
- Reviewers for recognition applications and virtual meetings. Please note: Reviewers must be experienced doctoral-level faculty members (including Emeritus) from established behavior analysis training programs, ABAI Fellows at universities or colleges, or current or past Full members of the ABAI Executive Council at universities or colleges. Reviewers will normally engage in a half-day review with the applying program via video conferencing.
